Brannan, Rick. All the Benedictions in the Bible. Faithlife Biblical and Theological Lists. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2021. Shows the following data:

Included Information

Along with the benediction itself, each instance is annotated for the following information:

• Speaker: The person or people who are giving the prayer.
• Addressee: The entity to whom the prayer is addressed.
• Place: The location where the prayer occurs. This is an optional field.

Rick Brannan, All the Benedictions in the Bible, Faithlife Biblical and Theological Lists (Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2021).

However, an actual search argument includes the title benediction:(addressee:person:Moses AND speaker:person:God AND title:topic:"God Offers a Benediction to Moses")

(Yes, the editor and I are still fighting over turning off bold and adding a quote bar)

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks. This is on our list to fix when we're updating other search syntax parameters in Documentation resources.
