Cursor placement in a new note

When adding a new note from the right-click menu the cursor ends up quite often but not always in the Search field. It should be set to the body of the note so pasting or typing would be in the expected location.

When adding a new note from the blue New Note button in the Notes tool it has the expected behavior but not when using the context shortcuts from the right-click pop-out.

Hi Dean, I am not able to duplicate this problem from my side. Would you be able to upload a video of this behavior?

    Here is an example.

I'm running Windows 10 and this has been an issues for as long as I can recall with regard to the Logos version.

    38.0.578 is the current build.

Thank you for sharing your video, Dean.

    I will investigate further.

Dean, we are still unable to duplicate this issue from our side.

Does this behavior only happen under certain conditions?

Is there any pattern as to when it occurs other than what you have already described?

I have tried a restart of the program, restart of Windows, begun with a new layout or used a saved layout and all of these still have the cursor going to the search box either on the first note or after two or three notes.

Here is an example where it went to the search box on the first try, worked correctly a couple of times and then failed on the fourth new note created.

If I add a new note using the blue button it works every time.

Dean, Thanks for sharing another video. I find I can occasionally, but not consistently duplicate this problem. We will investigate further.

@Dean Andersen I 'm sorry, but we are closing this ticket because we are only able to duplicate this behavior sporadically.
