Add books to Print Library

Greetings,

I am trying to add my physical books to my print library.

I have the latest version of Logos 10 on my Pc and Android phone.

The problem is that on any book I try to add, there is no option to "add to library" per all the videos I have watched.

Trying to scan from mobile does nothing.

I have tried multiple books to no avail. All have the same option Preview/Buy.

Any help is appreciated.

Attached is a picture when trying to add the ESV study Bible

If you have used the "Mobile Scanner" to scan the barcodes - try clicking on Library and then use the filter option to view Print Library.

I don't have an Android phone, but on the iPhone mobile app, you click on the "More" three-line menu at the bottom of the screen, and there's an option called "Print Library ISBN Scanner" with a picture of a camera next to it.

I have the latest version of Logos 10 on my Pc and Android phone.

Do you have a Logos subscription and, if so, which tier?

This feature requires a Pro or higher subscription or, I think, a Logos 10 full feature upgrade licence.

    This may be the issue.

I do not have a subscription.

I am running Logos 10 Library version 38.0.578

Purchased an upgrade a few months ago, but not a subscription.

Do you have a Logos subscription, Jeff, and - if so - which level?

Sorry Jeff - I missed that you had responded about a subscription.

When you say upgrade - was it the Logos Full Feature Set that you purchased in the Last Chance Sale? If it was the Logos FFS or IIRC any L10 Gold or higher package - you should have the Print Library Tool

I do not believe it was.

Looking at my purchase history, i am not seeing the upgrade.

It was call the regformed bundle or something like that.

I will just assume I do not have a higher tier for this feature.

    Than you everyone.

    Grace and peace to you.

You may not have the feature. But if you'd like you can do the free trial of the subscription and I believe you'll have the feature and you'll be able to add each of your books to your Logos search.

What I'm considering doing is: taking every single print book I own off all the shelves, scan every single one of them, making a folder in my favorites which contains only my print books, place a few subfolders within that folder (Shelf 1 [Reference], Shelf 2 [Commentaries], Shelf 3 [Language], etc) and have those folders correspond to my physical bookshelves. This way, when I want to search my print books within Logos I can open up that favorite folder and figure out where that book is in my physical library. I haven't utilized Print Library nearly as much as I'd like to because many of the discoveries I find via Logos search are in print books I don't really frequent, and my most frequented books that I have in physical format, I also own in Logos. Aside from some study Bibles, and devotionals. I do have a ton of monographs that I think would be beneficial to search as well as a bunch of digital books on other platforms, but I haven't convinced myself that the juice is worth the squeeze.

I've considered getting those organization stickers you can buy online and labeling my books, but I admire the spines too much to put a sticker on some of them… many of my books I wouldn't mind, but I have a few shelves of books which I love to admire the spines of every so often.
