I'm new to Logos and trying to switch from Olive tree Bible study app which could show the ESV study Bible as a related books option when I scroll. I bought the ESV study Bible on logos and am trying to make the ESV study Bible easily searchable with related books function. But I only get the faithlife study Bible and some other books appearing. How can I make ESV study Bible there and appearing as a top priority?

Thank you

    Hi @Benjamin Quek

There are a number of different ways of doing this.

If you tap the cover icon for the Faithlife Study Bible, you will go to a different panel with a Change button. If you tap that, you will see a list of your Study Bibles from which you can choose the one you want.

If you want the ESV Study Bible to appear, by default, you can prioritize it as your highest priority study Bible. This needs to be done on desktop - there are details on how to do this at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019683652-Prioritize-Books - and that will sync to your mobile device. Once you have done that, it will appear at the top of the related books section.

One further option is to set up a split tab layout - where you have the ESV and the ESV Study Bible in separate tabs in the same panel and put them in a link set. That way they would simply scroll together. Details on doing this are at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025293271-Mobile-Linking-Tabs

If any of this doesn't make sense, or doesn't work, please let us know

Related books will show your top prioritized Study Bible and your top prioritized Commentary that relate to the passage you are viewing. To change the books that show here by default, you will have to edit your prioritized books. This can not be done on the mobile app, so you will have to use Logos on Desktop to accomplish this.

You can edit your prioritized books on the desktop app by going to your library, opening the sidebar, and clicking on "Prioritize Books". I have included a screenshot and an article as references.

Edit: I see Graham beat me to it. I would recommend giving his final suggestion a try regarding having a split tab layout and linking them together. If you are primarily interested in what the ESV Study Bible has to say, this strategy will display more information. You can even set your study Bible to "Follow only" so that if you decide to read further in the study Bible, you will not lose your place.
