How can I tell what highlighting style a word is highlighted with?

I've tried everything I can think of and deeply searched the web with no result. I would gratefully appreciate it? It's been driving me crazy. Thank you.

That worked! Yet when I to search for that particular highlighted word in the visual filters, it says it can’t find it. Is that normal? When I physically searched through all of my visual filters, I still could not find that word/highlighting/formatting in any of the visual filters. Where can I search for that particular visual filter to find it in the visual filters I looked under the documents/visual filter and I also looked under the format menu search and neither of them showed this word at all. I.e..David in the previous example. I finally found the actual visual filter finally with your help! Thank you!

That's strange - try this. Right-click on the highlighted word, click Selection on the left of the popup context menu and then Open Notes and Highlights

Then, in the note, click the highlight icon and scroll down until you see the highlight used indicated

But, are you sure this is a manually applied highlight. I think it might be a Visual Filter you have created that is applying the highlight. If so, you would need to look at the Visual Filter definition.

So again I went thru all my visual filters and have nothing that resembles it. I also went ahead and tried to do the same thing as you did…. This is what I got. I can't explain it… Not sure why my example is so different?????

The Context Menu shows different actions (right side) based on what is chosen in the left side. Was you selection highlighted - was it all highlighted?

I appreciate you have done this, but this does look more and more like a visual filter and not a highlight!

To double-check this, please click More in the toolbar and select the Formatting tab. Then turn off the display of Visuai Filters and see if the highlights go away.
