Is there a process in Logos 10 by which I can select a single verse and have Logos return a list of how that verse is translated in every Logos Bible in my library? Many thanks.
I know you can have this task completed for your prioritized Bibles. I have never tried with all Bibles prioritized. Perhaps you can make a collection of ALL Bibles and operate against them as well.
Logos doesn't have an automated quick list of all of your translations for a verse … what you're probably wanting.
It does offer the Text Comparison tool (in the Tools menu on your desktop app). As Kevin mentions, you can create a collection, or as a filter use 'type:bible' and select the translations you want (little check boxes).
Logos defines Bibles broadly … I have about 150 english translations, so I have collections that I use for comparison.
The Text Comparison tool will give you this info.
First, create a collection of all your bibles.
Second, open a bible and select the verse. Then click on the Tools menu and choose 'Compare'. In the window that opens, click the blue print at the top and select your 'All Bibles' collection you made earlier and you'll get the list you want.
You can also use the information tool to see how specific words are translated across different versions.
You can also tag what are clearly Bibles and then create a collection of the tag.

One option is Books Search of a Bible Collection (e.g. Type:Bible) for Bible verse(s) milestone

Dear Folk, When I click Favorites in the Dynamic Toolbar, when my bible is open, I get an incomplete listing of my Favorites menu. Why is that? Am I missing something?
OK, I have thought for awhile that the new Discover lens and the 'Store' icon were not working properly in Verbum/Mac - new features in 45.0. I can't get either to show up! But now I have narrowed this down to show that something is broken only on the Verbum/Mac app (don't know about Verbum/Windows) and app.verbum.com So…
I recently learned how I can click that little arrow in a search result to set the Active Reference to the next verse (since scrolling unfortunately no longer works near the end of a list). However, I am finding I need to click the arrow way to many times since instead of it going to the next verse, it jumps in the same…
How do I get rid of books in I cannot read or simply dont want? There are many aramaic books that I cannot read and dont want them included when Im searching or trying to look at other books.
Dear Folk, In the favorites side bar section, you can put a layout, search, resource, etc. When you have more than the allotted for the space, the program puts a double arrow, and places the next saved favorite in the drop out list when you click the double arrow. In the favorite space, you can change the order by drop and…
