Am I Misunderstanding "Show Footnotes on Page" Feature?
I'm attempting to view my resources in Paged View, with the footnotes appearing at the bottom of the panel. I've accomplished this before, and I'm fairly certain it was by switching on Paged View and selecting "Show footnotes on page". It seems I can't do that anymore. I've checked all the features I thought I may have mistaken this with (Power Lookup, Cited By, etc) just to be safe, and none of them are what I was thinking. There was a point in time where I was able to view the text of the resource and have all the footnote text appear at the bottom of the page (similar to how it'd be in a paper book). Am I mistaken? Am I thinking of a different app? I've tried with several resources, tried switching the number of columns, and everything else I can think of, but can't find the option to do that again. Am I hallucinating a feature that never existed?
Screenshot is with the ESV on Paged view and "Show footnotes on page" option selected:

It looks as though this is not working at the moment - which is very strange!

This seems to be a bug in the new toolbar. Here's what Verbum 36 (prior to the new toolbar) shows:
the same on Logos 39 Beta 3 has no footnotes (neither does NIV or NET which I tested)

It appears I'm not hallucinating this feature (thankfully). But for whatever reason I'm unable to replicate the behavior within Logos. Found this screenshot on Google from support.logos.com

Strange indeed, I'm glad it's not my Logos install though :) Thanks Graham

Thanks Nick, I now regret updating my Verbum install :/. Hopefully this bug can get fixed soon.

I put the tag "Bug" onto your post, maybe it helps raising the awareness.

Thanks, I didn't really give a ton of consideration to it being a bug… I thought I was doing something wrong.

I am using Logos 38.1.2 on a Windows 10 computer. I cannot duplicate this issue.

That's unfortunate. I can confirm I don't see the bug on my old Windows 10 machine which is still running Logos 38 Beta 1. I'll try to update to 39 Beta 1, since I'm suspecting it's a Windows 11 issue. Most users who reported this above didn't share but I don't assume we all are on L39 Beta.

I'm running V 38.1.2 on a Windows 11 system and have visible footnotes (Classic Toolbar)
Logos 10 - OpenSuse Tumbleweed, Windows 11, Android 16 & Android 14

I see this problem on 39.0 beta 3 on Mac - so it's not just a Windows issue.

39.0.392 on Windows 11 here. I'm assuming everyone experiencing it only experiences it with their installs that have the dynamic toolbar.

Version 38 on stable channel with dynamic toolbar works fine, but I’m seeing the problem on 39.0 beta 3. Windows 11 as well.

It seems to be a problem of the 39 beta release (I'll crosspost to the beta forum), since the version 38 on Windows 10 didn't have the issue, and switching to beta = upgrading to 39.0 Beta 3 showed the bug.
EDIT: bug report in beta forum here:
