Page Numbers
The consistency with which page numbers show up in ebooks is frustrating. The app doesn’t allow bookmarks, doesn’t always give page numbers (or % read) making it vert hard to get back to a prior point easily.
Quite frankly this issue is sufficient for me to generally purchase my ebooks via kindle or other sources.

The presence or absence of page number is established by the original publisher. Logos simply duplicates the choice of the publisher which is what those who need citation information need.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

There should be a global setting to turn on page numbers. It should not have to be done on an individual resource level.

You can. When you turn on page numbers for a particular title, click the three dots to the right of Page numbers for more options, and select "Show in all appropriate books."

but is it possible to jump to a specific number, too? Also on the iPad? I didn’t found that opinion.

On desktop you can enter a page number in the reference box to move to that page
On iPad, you can do the same thing by tapping the search icon to the right of the reference box and entering the page number there

thank you, Graham, that works. But on iPad it wasn’t visible that it it possible to enter a page number in the box beneath the search icon. I had to write over the text in the box showing e.g. a date in a devotional.
