I am using the Sermon Builder but the Sermon Assistant icon does not appear anywhere in the dialog box. How can I activate the Sermon Assistant?
Do you have a Logos Pro or higher subsciption?
And which platform are you running Logos on?
Hi Graham - I have the Logos Pro subscription and am using Windows 11.
If you have access to it….
I cannot find what was in the Logos 10 Full Feature Sets…were sermon builder and manager included in those? Also, if he's got a subscription that gets him sermon builder, then he should have manager, as well.
Hi Jonathan and Graham - I do have access to Sermon manager and opened it and selected the sermon I am working on today. The Sermon manager then opened that sermon in the Sermon Builder but the problem remains that the icon for the Sermon Assistant does not appear. By the way, I have had access to the Sermon Assistant in the past and was able to receive several suggested outlines for sermons I was building. However, now that feature seems to be gone with no icon to open it.
Oh wait . . . I just double checked to see what Logos I am running and it says "Logos Premium." I was running Logos Pro but something must have happened. Let me try and solve the problem and get back to Pro. That must be the problem.
That would explain it - Premium or higher is required for this.
I just looked at my order history and see that I ordered Logos Pro on 12/18 but then on 1/9/2025 I ordered Logos Premium. I thought that I was ordering the two year subscription for Logos Pro, but somehow I got Premium instead. Now I need to figure out how to correct this. Here's a screen shot of the mess:

@Jonathan Bradley - Rich isn't asking about the sermon manager but for the sermon assistant feature within the sermon builder.
Also check to see if you have a legacy package of Silver or above.

I recommend contacting Customer Services. They should be able to advise on this.
@Donovan R. Palmer
Silver or higher will give you the sermon builder - including preaching mode - but won't provide access to the sermon assistant features. That requires a Premium or higher subscription
Oh yeah… missed that. Thanks.
I am grateful to each of you for jumping in and helping. I fixed the problem with my subscription and am back on Pro. Now I do have the Sermon Assistant. All is well. Thank you again.
Wow…brain fart on my end.
I had a brain fart and read sermon assistant as manager.
Yeah, sometimes the terminology in Logos gets muddled in my mind. The problem is, it is not the only knowledge management information tool I use, and ALL of them are bringing in AI, making changes in their offerings (including subscriptions), and evolving their ability to interconnect.

On logos.com I was trying to get to my wishlist, but clicking on my profile (top right) doesn't do anything. Even clicking on the magnifying glass for search doesn't work so I'm shut off from most of the website. Anyone else?
Until last week, I could search for a word in the LXX with four other versions in parallel columns, and export all columns into a word document. Yesterday, I attempted to export all occurrences of gyne in the LXX, with text from BHS, NASB, NRSV and NAA in other columnts, and logos would only export the LXX column. I…
How to back up personal books? and how to copy personal books from my desktop to my laptop?
Opened my Logos to Bible. My lightbulb is missing. The Insights Panel is supposed to open with Shift Command B but it produces no response.
Hey everyone, I have the option of older MacBook Pro with an M1 pro chip and 32 GB of Ram and new M5 MacBookPro with 24GB of ram. The older model has a four more GPU cores and 8GB more of memory. But it's an M1 chip compared to an M5. Price in this case isn't an issue. Any thoughts on whether or not I'd miss out on that…
