Increase the number of panels (more than 4) that can be included in a layout; e.g., 6 or 8.
What platform. On the desktop I've not run into a limit - and I commonly use 10
@K. Dirk Berard - are you speaking of the default set of Layouts that you can see when you click the Layout Icon?
If so, as @MJ. Smith mentioned, I've also never run into a limit - my current opened Layout runs between 15 and 20 depending on what I keep open.
In case you're not aware - you're not limited to those default layout setups on the Desktop App - you can create your own by opening whatever resources that you would like to be a part of the Layout and adjusting the size (both width and height) of each tab to your liking.
I think he might be referring to the app.logos.com which has a 4 limit?
Thanks; all of your responses are helpful.
I think something that would help layouts entirely is to be able to have multiple instances of Logos running at the same time. For people with multiple monitors… having multiple instances of Logos ability would be a great blessing.
And "open to full screen" is not the same as "multiple instances of Logos". With "multiple instances" you get the full power of the Logos program "multiple times". Many programs allow this now…. I hope Logos will soooon! 😎
You can run two versions parallel - one Logos, one Verbum. However, as they use separate library instances so unless you have a small library, it becomes a resource hog.

Build your biblical library with a new trusted commentary or resource every month. Yours to keep forever.
I would like there to be a feature incorporated that allows the ai to take this into account and not just assume that Calvinistic interpretations are the true and correct baseline for understanding the Bible in it's responses to me. I have the Pro subscription and have purchased a few other library offerings and other…
I would love an annual summary similar to Spotify Wrapped or YouTube Recap. It would be encouraging to see stats like 'Verses read,' 'Hours studied,' 'Most used commentary,' or 'Top topics studied' to help track my spiritual growth and usage habits. I like how they do an annual recap for all of the users. But I think it…
I love the Exegetical Guide, Word Studies, and other great tools in logos. One area of friction I am finding is that I cannot directly highlight and copy text from these great resources. For instance, I'll be moving through a text on the Exegetical Guide and going word by word. Whenever there is information I find helpful,…
Is anyone else having these issues? Layouts should be one of the most helpful tools to keep organized but are one of the worst functioning apps within Logs. I always have a minimum of four layouts for the different studies I am doing, yet I consistently have problems with the "update active" functionality, in that they do…
We might own (or have owned) a print edition of a book that is now in our Logos Library, and we will forever associate the cover we remember from the print edition with that book. The image that comes with the Logos edition might be something different (from a different edition). So we might want to associate the cover…
