Copy/paste into notes suddenly stopped working very recently

Hi:

I'm running Logos 10 (39.0) on Windows 11, and up until a few days ago I was able to copy and paste from Word and Logos resources into notes attached to Scripture references. All of a sudden this no longer works (or rarely works then stops). I can copy and paste from Logos resources to Word with no problem. I've tried rebooting Logos, and rebooting Windows, but not effect. Both Logos and Windows are totally up to date. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

@Jon Dart - hopefully someone with Microsoft Word can try to replicate your error, as I do not use Word. I did try to replicate the inability to copy and paste from resources within Logos and did not experience the issue that you mention.

I am also running Version 39 on Windows 11.

When you say it no longer works - does it lead to Logos crashing?

Is there no option to 'Paste'?

The option is there - but when you paste - it is still blank?

I can copy/paste into the MS Word but not on Logos Notes. I use mobile devices Iphone/ipad. I can't paste Bible references into Logos Notes. The MS Word works as it should be.

Jon, I am trying to duplicate the issue on my computer, and so far, I have not been able to. For clarity, when you say you cannot paste from Word or a Logos resource into a note "attached to Scripture references," do you mean a note anchored to a specific verse in Scripture?

Yes. Typically I anchor a note to a Scripture verse, and open it in a specific Notebook, say Bible Study Notes on Mark. I copy some text in a Logos resource, but when I right-click in the blank note space and click "Paste," or when I use Ctrl-V to paste, nothing happens. The weird thing is that this happens for some resources, but with other resources the copy-paste function works fine. I've opened Windows clipboard utility to make sure that when I copy there is actually text in the clipboard buffer, and that's working fine. I don't think it's a Windows issue, although I only noticed it happening right after the last Windows update. The other thing is, I've created a large number of Personal Books on various topics, and when I try to copy from a Personal Book into a note file, it does the same thing, about 30% of the time. There's no pattern that I can see as to when this issue happens and when it works fine. I suppose I can copy into Word, then copy back to my notes, but that's a pain and I shouldn't have to do that.

After investigating further, it seems that the problem only happens when I'm trying to copy heavily formatted text into a note. I'm not going to go any further with this issue.
