Auto align and styles

On my laptop at home, Proclaim no longer auto-aligns when I am building slides. No center lines or snapping into place anymore. However, the computer at church still does. I don't know why or what I turned off. Does any know? Also, the new slide canvas does auto-align, but I don't want to build in it yet because it does not support all the styles I have saved. Is that correct, or is there a way to use the styles already saved as fonts in the new slide canvas?

    there should be a guides dropdown on the toolbar when editing. Sounds like you turned off the smart guides
