multiple series titles

I want to be able to prioritize author as well as series. So here I want to prioritize commentaries by Michael Bird, and they are in 5 different series. I can create a series of Michael Bird and prioritize the series, but if I am searching my library by series, these wouldn't show up in the other series. Like having multiple tags on books.
Or am I missing something?
