I do a Book Search on a topic, so books I own are searched.

But…are my books in the cloud searched? I figure not, but am checking.

I am on L8.

In the current (and quite a few versions back) release of the software you can explicitly request that just Cloud Books are searched

And, even if you don't specify that, results from your Cloud books appear in a separate section in the search results

    I am on L8.

Sorry to ask but, are you sure?

What do you see for the version number in you click About Logos from the three icons menu at the top-right / bottom-left of the main Logos window?

The popup under Books includes "Your Books" and "Downloaded Books", so I suppose "Your Books" would include books you own that are still in the cloud. There is also an option "Cloud Books" which would search only books you own that have not been downloaded.

Hi Graham + Jack: Thank you both. I now know more.

So, true??: Your Books = Cloud Books + Downloaded Books, and a search of Your Books would search volumes Downloaded + Cloud.

Graham, you asked: Under About Logos is:

Software: 39.1.6 Subscription: Many Logos 8 Features Library: Logos 8 Library

    Primitive, aye?

Not really! Which is why I asked….

You are running the latest version of the software - but the last package you bought was for Logos 8.

It's good to know you are running current software…..
