Community Highlight Off By Default

I turned off the community highlighting on a book, but I will have to do that individually for every other book.

Could you add to the program settings that these things are enabled or disabled by default and then we have to manually change the behavior per book. As in: community highlighting is currently enabled by default. I want it disabled by default. When I want to use it I can enable it for that book.

Apologies for being blunt but there is a reason for asking before making a suggestion. This is not the implementation you requested but it is an instant provision of the function.

Even when a function is not present, asking if the function exists first often help you define the problem in a way that leads to a better implementation.

On the Formatting menu, choose Reformat; next to Popular highlights, click the three dots and select "Do not show in any books"

(If you don't have the new resource toolbar, it's a similar process on the Visual Filters menu on the old toolbar.)
