Should I purchase the $9.99/mo (Premium) or the $14.99/mo (Pro) package?

I am new to LOGOS and am in the free 30-day trial, loving all the tools so far in LOGOS!!

Have you found that the Premium ($10) pkg offers enough Bible tools (dictionaries, etc) that I don't need the Pro ($15) package? I am the leader of women's Bible studies and love to dig into God's Word for my own personal Bible study. Are there other benefits that you've found with the Premium package that I would not receive with the Pro package? Thank you so much for any help!

Seems to me subscribe monthly (cancel if needed) and see how you like Pro.

I say this, just surmising you love digging more than for your class (which is great). My experience, is the Bible just gives and gives.

@Lukas adding to Terri, you only need what you need. Most of what I use came from Logos6 and earlier … no need for later features.

    Depends on your needs.

I suggest that you start with Pro and see if you use the Pro features and resources while giving Pro a good trial. You can always drop down to Premium. On the otherhand, if you think you will use the OL features in Max, the same idea applies. Whatever subscription level you subscribe, you do not have to keep what you start with. However you get the 24-month credit for whichever level you stick with.

How much Pro or Max benefits you depends If you have the Logos 10 full feature set and a good level of resources beforehand.

@DMB are you saying all the features and resources in Logos is not necessary. Please can you give me more clarity on this. I am new to Bible Study.

Hi Lucas, I was wondering if the $15/mo is worth the extra $5 per month. I decided it is. There are double the resources regarding commentaries, dictionaries, etc for $5 per month. Thank you for answering :)

You can actually compare the subscription plans to help you decide which is best for you. See the link below.

Logos Premium, Logos Pro, and Logos Max Plans | Logos Bible Software

I currently have the Premium plan and may switch to the Pro plan because it will increase my library. Once you are in a subscription you can't opt out but should be able to switch between plans.

I'm also planning to move up to the Pro subscription:

    • More Resources.
    • Sermon tools and LOTS of them!
    • Absolutely looking forward to using the concordance tool.
    • Plus you get an annual coupon to use for being a subscriber :)

I just wish there was a little bit more original language study tools available in the pro plan.

I'm just curious … what extra OL tools would you have preferred in Pro? (I have the full L10 treaatment, so I lose track of what's good, early on.)

I only have basic Hebrew & Greek knowledge so wouldn't need all the features of Max but what I would have liked access to are:

    • The figurative languages
    • Literary typing
    • Morphology & LXX translation ring

I think that would have been extremely helpful for even ordinary study leaders or preachers to use when studying a passage or certain words.

Good choices. And thank you. I wonder, after some experience, they could swap some OL into Pro.

I doubt Pro people are just inches away from Max. And Max people demand Max!
