Gaps in important Catholic encyclicals

Writing a paper on liturgical theology in the 20th century, and went to Verbum so that I could reference important encyclicals… only to find them missing. My next thought was to check out the Logos store, to see if they simply weren't included in the base package levels I've accumulated over the years… only to find they're not even in the store!

Strange that Verbum/Logos carries Divino Afflante Spiritu and Mystici Corporus Christi, but not Mediator Dei nor the extremely then-controversial Humani Generis. It's Mediator Dei that I need to make immediate use of, but I can't imagine doing work in Catholic theology without Humani Generis being in my library, as I'm sure it would populate countless hyperlinks in books on 20th century theology. (Actually, I'm reading Popes, Councils and Theology: From Pope Pius IX to Pope Francis right now in paperback, which is what drew my interest towards these encyclicals… only to find that Verbum won't help me develop that interest… 😅)

It's major product deficiencies like this that keep me from subscribing to the new model. I'm not going to pay for tools that I'll never use when my money clearly isn't going towards the things I actually need… 🤐

Anyway, to that end this post is a resource request broadly asking for these major oversights to be less overlooked. I'm sure we're missing much more than these two. We're also missing nearly everything of Pope Francis' from the past ten years… it's almost like Verbum doesn't want to be relevant to meeting today's needs… 😅
