I would really like to see this in Logos...sooner rather than later.
Bump. This isn't the same thing as The Exhaustive Dictionary of Bible Names, which just lists what the name supposedly means without explanation. This book gives entire articles that explain the etymology of each entry. This would likely be the most comprehensive such work available in Logos IF it were offered. Names MEAN THINGS in the Bible, and this book explains that better than most. Please show support for this. [Y]
May I suggest www.suggestbooks.uservoice.com?

This is absolutely correct. This is an incredible resource, and it’s unbelievable that it’s not offered. Logos, if you offer this, I will purchase it on the first day available, and I know others who would too…
This morning, I referred to my print copy when researching Uzzah touching the Ark of the Covenant. I will buy a copy if Logos ever gets around to publishing it. I love the time Logos saves while researching information!
This book looks amazing!
During closer examination today, I noticed that this is a reprint of “The Proper Names of the Old Testament Scriptures Expounded and Illustrated” by Alfred Jones 1856. I was able to locate and download the .pdf file for free from Google which is a bonus.
The wisdom literature of the Old Testament can be daunting. Sidney Greidanus, in the book’s foreword, describes Old Testament wisdom literature as “one of the more difficult genres to interpret and preach.” Yet the numerous proverbs and sayings meet us in everyday life, teaching us much about understanding and applying the…
The Lord of the Entire World: Lord Jesus a Challenge to Lord Caesar by Joseph D. Fantin is a crucial addition to the Logos library for anyone seeking to understand the theological and political weight behind the early Christian confession, “Jesus is Lord.” This book explores how first-century believers would have…
Book 4 from Marcus Ryker Series is missing from Faithlife catalog. Can we get it added please. @Mitch Snyder (Faithlife) , @Jason Stone (Logos) Without it Faithlife is leaving money on the table. I don’t want to buy the books in two different applications but only the one that does offer all the books in the series. I have…
Instead of relying on theological agendas and comfortable rhetoric, we need to trust the biblical text by means of appropriate context. Words have meaning and context impacts their meaning. We should not to let our theology drive the biblical text; let the biblical text drive our theology. Hopefully, by relying on the…
A classic book I have given away multiple copies.
