    The Psalm Explorer divides the psalms by genre.

    It lists praise, trust, hymn, thanksgiving, wisdom, royal, and lament

    I am studying a book right now that focuses a bit on the imprecatory psalms, which seems to be a subset of lament psalms here.

    I've been at this Bible study thing for a very long time. and imprecatory psalms have always been a distinct genre that deserves study on their own. I am surprised that Logos doesn't see that.

    I think they should be a distinct if not a subset genre in the Psalms Explorer.
