New notebook disappears when created? ;)

When creating a new notebook, it is automatically sorted so it seemingly disappears after it is created and I always have to search for it. It would be so much more convenient if the new notebook was automatically selected as the current notebook OR if the new notebook would appear at the top as a recently created notebook (perhaps separated by a line from the sorted notebooks below) so it can be easily found and selected. It is silly to have to search for the notebook I just created just to select it to create a note. Please make this process easier!
