Academic research paper

Unconfirmed, Member Posts: 4

Is there a way I can use Logos to format an academic research paper to a particular style and then use Logos to write the paper? I see where it lists workflows, sermon prep, etc., but what about writing papers and using copy/paste to insert verses or block quotes into them? What about citing works according to a particular style format? As you can tell, I'm new to this; any help would be appreciated.

Logos can certainly assist in the process of writing an academic research paper, but it is not primarily designed to be a word processor. Logos is a great place to do research, however, and it does help with citations, simplifying the process of recording footnotes and bibliographies. In Program Settings, you can choose your citation style and whether or not you want Logos to copy citations along with quoted text.

Honestly, when it comes to formatting bibliographies and footnotes, I've always used Zotero more than Logos for academic papers.

Logos has a webinar coming up related to writing :

I don’t think it’ll touch on formatting but you should pick up some other tips. And don’t worry about whether you’ll have time for the live webinar; as long as you register for a session, they’ll send you a replay link after the webinar wraps, and you’ll have 30 days to rewatch.
