Highlighting in Preaching Manuscript

I use the logos app for writing my sermons and I have my iPad as a manuscript. When I'm in preaching mode, it would be very helpful if I could use my apple pen to highlight certain things for emphasis. I know I can do that when I'm writing my sermon or editing it, but when its done, I would love to be able to use it like a canvas (like I did on regular paper). Thanks!
