Mark footnotes with text

I read a lot of books on Logos. Many books have lots of footnotes, some of which have text but most of which simply cite other works. If the footnote number in the body of the work for footnotes with text were marked - italicized, or bolded, or whatever - I could save the time taken by opening every footnote to see if it has text. The process of marking footnotes in appropriate resources (monographs, theologies, and other textual books - as opposed to Bibles, dictionaries, and other reference works that aren't susceptible of being read cover to cover, or whatever encases digital resources) could be automated and done by bots looking for text other than descriptions of referenced works. And if the bolding or other marking of text footnote numbers could be turned on or off in settings, that would be great.
