My church does a run-through of the entire setlist to confirm everything is set correctly (especially MIDI queues for lighting and camera views). Currently, MIDI queues are only sent during Go Live. In order to test MIDI signals, we often accidentally trigger recording start cues. This adds unwanted recordings that have to be trimmed later (defeating the purpose of Recording Start/Stop). My request is to create a way to test the setlist without triggering recording. Maybe add a 4th state: Edit, Preview, TEST, Go Live. Test state would simulate Go Live, but ignore recording queues. OR even better… maybe each service item can have a checkbox to determine if if it ignored in the TEST state. Thanks for your consideration.
