Currently, Poor Access to Proclaim

Having experience the 'new' Proclaim, accessing the program through a complex method of opening, singing in and waiting for the program to respond, it seems to me that his is a backward step. The current access is both clumsy and time consuming. Our church has one computer, used by a number of people who need to access Proclaim. The current method of opening the program is inefficient and adds to a high level of frustration. Please Change to the previous version of Proclaim, accessing only through the taskbar.

Hi, James, sorry for the frustration! Can you let me know a little more about how you guys are using Proclaim?

With the new sign-in, you should really only see it once. After that, you would click on Proclaim in the taskbar and it would just launch as normal. You should not need any extra steps. Is that not happening for you?

It could be you are signing out of your account and switching accounts? Is that true? In that case, it would be re-prompting you to launch the browser and sign-in.

    Hi Jordan,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Our Church has one computer which is used by to operate Proclaim. There are three presenters. I was going to train a 4th, however, with the current version, I am holding off training this person. All presenters have little or none experience in Tech. Like all church, we are volunteers.

The previous version of proclaim was simple. Click on the Proclaim icon, up comes the blueish rectangle, enter email and code, tick off 'remember me' (so it doesn't) and you are in. When finished - close Proclaim. On the following Sunday, it is ready for the next presenter.

Current version: Click on Proclaim Icon, Question Do you Authorise or not? If you sign out what happens? (remembering you have Church starting in 15mins) Some how you remember what to do. So you are now have to login to proclaim. To logout the presenter has to 'sign out' (to right menu drop down). They also have to check that the computer has not saved their login and password. -complicated, frustrating and time consuming.

The previous method was simple, easy to remember and efficient.

In my opinion, the Proclaim needs to be reviewed and simplified. In November, we have our Church AGM. I have to give my review of Proclaim - value, quality and usage. At this point, my view is not positive. Unless changes can be made.
