This book is firmly anti-Catholic with the common misunderstandings and misrepresentations of Catholic doctrine. However, its design is perfect for three purposes: (1) for Calvinists who want proof-texts against Catholic doctrine as they conceive it (2) for Catholics who want to defend their actual position against those trying to convert them (3) for apologetics and polemics of all Ilks to see clearly the tactics used in their field of interest.
