I was reminded of this post Apophthegmata Patrum — Logos Community when I used my short cut to Monastica for the first time after a long break. As I have been looking at multiple languages recently, I was interested to see they include Greek, Alemannic, Arabic, Armenian, Coptic, Ethiopic, Georgian, Latin, Norse, Slavonic, Sogdian, and Syriac which is a reminder of how broad the Church is/was compared to how narrowly we usually confine our studies. All of which boils down to how useful this sites has made the multiple collections of Sayings by simply providing parallels across the collections. it would be helpful if Logos could scrape their data (for a fee of course) and provide a simpler set of parallels for the non-scholar.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
