This little gem for reasons of language is also fascinating with regards to the understanding of the story of creation.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

@MJ. Smith Thank you. I took the liberty to substitute the English translation with a modern German one. Would you approve of me publishing it here?

By the way: The (written) German language originated from Glossae to christian texts and other religious works, e.g.:

    764/72 Abrogans

    830 Tatian: Evangelienharmonie

    830 Heliand

    863/71 Otfried von Weißenburg: Evangelienharmonie

    880 Muspilli

    Should we add them, too?

Of course, I'd even encourage you. I'll add to the list of files.

That would be very useful. I'd be glad to add them to my list. Be sure to include the source information and whether they are public domain, creative license, or for educational purposes only (otherwise coprighted).
