I have a new tablet and I'm trying to download some books for offline use. There is no option to download any of the books in my library.
The web app is completely online. Depending on the tablet, you can download the mobile app which does allow you to download resources.
When I use the mobile app I only can see a portion of the books in my library.
So I've poked around both apps. I should first mention that I use the free version of Logos. Second, in the mobile app it says I have 57 books while the web app shows a lot more that are listed under "Yours." When I looked at Book Info on a book on the mobile app, it says I can't download it because it is not part of my library. That same book shows up under "Yours" on the web app.
The two free versions don't share their books with each other (meaning, 2 separate free-book groups).
The 'yours' does appear misleading.
To further complicate it, I am new to these apps. Everything I did before was on a laptop I no longer use. I was hoping to avoid having to put the desktop version on my new laptop.
My library is composed of free and purchased items. Either way, I am unable to download any of it through either of the apps.
The web app is "online only".
The mobile app provides some free books that are only available (due to publisher restrictions) for online use and can't be downloaded. While these may display under "Your books" they are not yours.
The desktop app doesn't support any of the free resources and will download only books you have purchased (including free books) or subscribed to.
Jay Adams is a good example of this problem: From this Logos.com search, there seem to be 70 Legacy Libraries that include works by Jay Adams. From this Logos.com search, there seem to be 159 English single-titles resources by Jay Adams. How can I find which and/or how many of his titles are in some particular Legacy…
Logos sold me a profanity-laced book (think the worst words you can think of). Logos would not let me return the book because my order was a smidgen over 30 days old. Fair enough. But now I have this junk in my library. Distaste is growing. My confidence in Logos' quality isn't there anymore. But here is the real reason…
Now what? I am trying to return a book with some nasty profanity. Attempting to contact someone on chat, I get this:
My Power Lookup tool is showing only a very limited number of resources available to it (only 2, both Lexham Lexicons, when I look up Greek words in the NT). Is there a solution to this problem? All my resources are indexed (up to date). Thanks.
@Rick Mansfield (Logos) is there any chance this book can come back for sale in logos? It used to be for sale and it is hyperlinked in one of my systematic theology books but is no longer for sale. I see that it is a moody title and I know those went away for a little bit, but I thought they were all back.
