The power of a database like the Interactive called "Commandments of the Law" comes when you can search it for a given commandment and then explore all the commandments in related categorizations.
Is not this a search with related categorizations?
Thanks for asking. Yes you can click on pre-determined broad categories, but I don't see where I can hit Control-F for Find or Inline search to search for a specific precise word.
Not sure what you mean by "Inline search" but it should be possible to provide a Sidebar search/Find box as in Library. It can search across all predefined categories for your word.
Thank you, can it search within the detailed text for a word, or only in the broad categories?
It would search the visible predefined categories for your word. Try it in Library where it will search across categories.
Thank you, I'm sure any type of search would help, even if it can only search the predefined categories.
I found when I wanted to search a specific Commandment of the Law, I just searched the Bible for a key word, then found the reference, and then sorted the "Commandments of the Law" by "Reference" and scrolled down to that reference to find it in the "Commandments of the Law" interactive.
But having the ability to search on the predefined categories might find what I'm looking for sometimes, and that would make this interactive more useful as a database of "Commandments of the Law". If such a search could be added with little expense that would be great!
Thank you!
It might be nice to search a Bible reference as well to zoom to the reference
Click on About in your interactive for details of the search capabilities
I exclusively use the web app since I run Linux, and I'm disappointed that dark mode is not an option there. The web app also doesn't play nice with Dark Reader extention for Chrome (which wouldn't be an issue if the web app had its own dark mode). I would appreciate adding Dark Mode to the web app.
It would be useful if a passage list could be created from the "Bible Word Study" Listings under "senses" and "Septuagint Translation" and I think there is another listing that slips my mind at the moment. Also, it would be great if we could highlight individual words in the Passage List. A simple highlight would be OK,…
In reporting typos, you ask what the text should say. Just now I am looking at a Bible commentary with a mishmash of Hebrew. I need to copy and paste some Hebrew lemmas here, but the window won't stay open while I do that. I need that window to stay open while I do some other things in Logos, like looking up things and…
I do find the Insights panel useful but would like to see an enhancement that would allow the sections to be reordered. For instance, to move Cross References section to the top instead of Related Books, etc.
I really want to have Dantes "Divina Comedia" in the Italian original in Logos/Verbum, but no one voted for it. So I tried to make a PB, but as other users affirm, there are no Milestones for "Dante" or the "Divina Comedia" present. Today, I wanted to check on the Author Datatype list coming from the Logos Wiki: Which…
