Dear Logos Development Team and Community,
I frequently use the note-taking feature in Logos Bible Software to organize my studies, and I greatly appreciate the ability to tag notes for easy retrieval. However, adding multiple tags to a single note is time-consuming, as each tag must be entered individually.
I’d like to propose a feature to streamline this process: support for bulk tagging using symbol-based input. For example, users could type a string like #tag1 #tag2 #tag3 or tag1, tag2, tag3 in the tag field, and Logos would automatically parse these into separate tags. This would allow users to add multiple tags in one action, significantly improving efficiency, especially for notes requiring many tags (e.g., 10+ tags for detailed categorization).
Use Case: When annotating a passage, I often want to apply several tags (e.g., themes, topics, or references) to a single note. Currently, I must click into the tag field, type one tag, confirm, and repeat for each tag. A symbol-based bulk-tagging feature would make this process faster and more intuitive, aligning with tagging workflows in other modern note-taking apps.
I believe this enhancement would benefit many users who rely on robust tagging for research and study organization. Has anyone in the community found workarounds for bulk tagging, or would others support this feature? I’d love to hear your thoughts and hope the Logos team considers implementing this in a future update.
Thank you for your dedication to improving Logos!
Best regards,
Vladimir Kotyakov
