I use layouts extensively. I have at times wanted to add a specific book or Bible to all my layouts at once. It would be convenient to not have to open, edit, and then save every layout induvidually to accomplish this.

An interesting idea, but I would say it is not practical with the current "free form" HTML layout design i.e. without specific "place holders" adding books is like a walk in the dark. And there is a lot of data about the display and attributes of the resource. Also, there is only one group for Saved Layouts and updating "all my layouts at once" could be unwanted.
