I'm having difficulty in creating a collection. If I am in my library and do a search for "studybibles" I get 53 results, all with study bible in the titles.

If I try to create a collection using the correct syntax with "study bible, "bible study", or "studybible", or any combination I get well over 150 titles, many without study or bible even in the title. Many of the titles are not even bibles.

Why doesn't the Collection function return what the library search returns?

Is there a work around for this?

what happens if you use studybibles?

I would recommend creating a collection with the rule: type:"study bible"

GaoLu

You can tag them yourself with something like "studybible"

Or try

title:studybible (etc)

tag:studybible (etc)

mytag:studybible (etc)

It's hard to say explicitly without seeing your library or what tagging you may have already done.

The collection should indeed return what the library search returns. Be sure you have it the same.

You also might reset all filters by clicking on "All"

why not use the Logos type classification for a collection rule of type:"study bible" … that is sufficiently accurate for me, but I can understand wanting to modify it.

type:"study bible" or type:study-bible is the correct syntax. See Search Fields you can use.
Your collection may have fewer results than Library because cloud resources are not included in Collections.

My library has 53 study bibles. The collection search has 253! So you are totally wrong.
