lemma in passage

I watched a Morris Proctor video today. He mentioned the lemma in passage tool.

The illustration he used was that if you are studying a word in, say, Joshua, you would search other Joshua commentaries. But that same word may have an excellent discussion in a commentary of another book.

He said that the lemma in passage function would find those other commentaries.

I tried this just now with a passage in Matthew (5:28). As far as I can tell, all the commentaries Logos is showing me are from Matthew. Is there some way to check other commentaries for lemmas in a passage I am studying. I know the Lexham Research Commentaries do this. But Proctor said there is a tool that does this.

What am I missing here?

@Larry Craig If you are using the desktop app, you should be able to find Lemma in Passage by opening up either a Passage Guide or an Exegetical Guide. If it's not currently showing in your guide then you should be able to add it by going to the Add menu in the guide.

Try using the Bible Word Study Guide on a lemma in the verse you are looking at

@JBR Your response addresses how to find the app. That is not the issue. The question is twofold: what is it supposed to do? MP said it's to find explanations of lemmas in commentaries you would ordinarily search, because they're not in commentaries on the passage you are studying. And, two, is there an app that shows those commentaries?

huh! MP was teaching on how to do inductive Bible study on a passage. It seems that if you use lemma in passage in studying a particular passage, it offers little help beyond studying the language commentaries you already are looking at. but if you just study the word itself, apart from the passage, then you find a whole new world of explanatory material.

@Larry Craig Thank you for your question. I responded as I did because it was where I remembered seeing Lemma in Passage. However, the following response by @Graham Criddle showing it as part of Word Study helped me realize that Lemma in Passage was also included there and that it, at least on first look, has the potential for being even more valuable in that context. So, thanks again. I learned something of value by following through on this one.
