I am having issues with the legibility of infographics, particularly the ones in Everett Ferguson's Church History, Volume 1: From Christ to Pre-Reformation in dark mode only. The issue occurs across my Windows Desktop, iPhone, and MacBook Pro. I have attached photos of the same table in dark mode and light mode to illustrate the issue!
Additionally, I'm sorry if there are issues with sharing photos of copyrighted material here. Here's a citation, as an olive branch. Everett Ferguson, Church History: From Christ to Pre-Reformation. (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2005).
It seems that Ferguson's book is an outlier; here is a table from one of Gailyn Van Rheenen's books:
Gailyn Van Rheenen and Anthony Parker, Missions: Biblical Foundations and Contemporary Strategies, 2nd Edition. (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, 2014).
I just thought I ought to share this issue; personally, I greatly prefer using the app in dark mode, though doing so has made studying for my graduate class on church history a bit of a challenge😅. I appreciate any help! It seems to me that the color of the background of the table is the issue, and when the text color is inverted for dark mode, it gets lost in the table color.
