Removing a Highlight

I have a large section of biblical text that has multiple highlights throughout the text. I accidentally added another highlight style over the whole of the text. I would like to remove just that accidental highlight, but leave the other highlights in place. Is there a way to do that without removing all the highlights?

This new highlight should appear as a separate entry in the Notes Tool. I suggest opening the Notes Tool and finding that highlight (it should, presumably, be one of the most recently added) and deleting it from there.

If I have misunderstood the situation, please clarify

Word use in specific book.
I have been trying to find a way to do a word search that indicates the number of occurrences but do not know how, can anyone help me do that? For example; I am starting a study in Philippians and want know how many times the word "Christ" is used. Is it possible to narrow the search down to that specific book?
