highlighting Biblical texts in one translation appears in all translations.

I have a number of different Bible tabs open at the same time. I would like to be able to highlight a passage in one translation and the same passage would be highlighted in the other translations. For example, when I highlight John 3:16 in my main translation, it would also be highlighted in all the other translations.

This would be especially useful for someone who compares several translations when doing a Bible study.

You should be able to do this by enabling the From other books with corresponding text section of the Shows notes and highlights menu in the Notes tab - and then selecting the notesbook you want to draw these corresponding highlights from.

Please be aware this only works for original language texts or those with a reverse interlinear that you own.

To add to what Graham said, if you attach a highlight by reference, it can show up in all Bibles, even those without reverse interlinear. To do that, right-click the verse, make sure "reference" is active on the left side of the menu, then click on one the colors in the menu on the right (it seems like, you can't use the Highlight tool if you want highlights to show up in all version, as those highlights will always be attached to the particular version, but you can open an existing highlight in the notes tool and add a reference as an anchor, so it does show up in all versions).
