Can you turn off the "new features" (empty title "+ button)?

I would hope with most every "new feature" that someone dreams up, there would be a way to turn that feature off. The perfect example is the "+" button(s) that now fill the empty space on the desktop. What is the point? The way I use Logos is to fill those spaces with what I want, not what someone else thinks should be there. When you push the "+" button it just fills that space with a menu of miscellaneous stuff most probably don't want. So, if there must be a feature that fills the white spaces, let the user be able to select what they want and customize that to their content..

I understand that you'd like most new features to be optional, allowing users to customize their experience instead of being forced to use unwanted elements like the "+" buttons that clutter the desktop.

Have you considered adding a product suggestion with this idea?

"Validation Error" Preventing Book Request Post
When attempting to add a book request post in the appropriate forum, I am getting a non-descript error message stating, "Error: post could not be created" and "Validation failed". Does anyone know the cause? It would definitely be helpful if the error message explained why the validation failed. ;)
