When a Bible window gets narrow, chapter numbers often get cut off. It would be nice if "Chapter 1" became "Ch. 1" or even "1" dynamically as the window size got narrower and narrower.
Good luck on that. The TOC operates across multiple book types. And even in Bibles, the books/chapters vary considerably (non-english especially).
I recognize it's a big ask. But whether it's easy or not, the Bible is central to Logos' purpose. Any quality-of-life improvement to the way Bibles display would impact many users.
I agree that your suggestion is a good one but suspect that many of us close the TOC when using a narrow panel. The navigation box provides an easy replacement for the TOC. Which explains why I like your idea but will not vote to give it priority.

When in "on air" mode and in grid view, I'd like to see a new line for every set of slides. For instance: The way it shows now, if there is a song and then scripture, it would show up on another line. However, if its more than one scripture reference, it continues in the grid view of a different reference. This becomes…
A recurrent question in the forums is why the chapter/verse changed when the user expects it to stay fixed. When it is only a verse or two different, they rarely notice but when text goes wandering as it does in Jeremiah or when Ezra/Nehemiah slip on how much they overlap or when looking for the colophon of Job which is in…
