Why does one commentary in a volume of a 20 volume commentary not show as owned on the Logos store?

I purchased the Tyndale 20 volume NT commentary which was included in one of my library collections over the past month, but I received received a recommendation from Logos shortly after that the 1 Peter commentary volume needed to be purchased because it was the only commentary of the 20 volume set that I did not own. Naturally I wanted to own a complete set so I took the Logos recommendation and purchased the missing volume for $8 more……… only to find upon searching my library a day later that I now have 2 volumes of the 1 Peter commentary with only one difference one (the new purchase) being a revised version. As a new subscriber to Logos I find this purchase recommendation to be very confusing and slightly misleading; however, I also fault myself 50% for not researching my library thoroughly before making a new purchase.

Are you saying that a revised volume which you did not own showed as not own? That is what I would expect. Or are you saying that the original volume which you did own showed as not owned? That should be reported as a bug. Or are you objecting to being sold the revised volume when you already owned the old edition? That I would expect a split on expectations among Logos users. Are you suggesting that the advertising should have included a note that you owned a prior version? I can see that being useful but don't know if the Logos advertising software permits such a nuance. What I do know is that it is important that you express your concerns to Logos as you did with this post.
