Effectiveness of Libraries

I am a new user of LP and Haven't begun purchasing libraries or for that matter , any additional sources outside of the ones offered with L Pro.

Reason being new user trying to navigate a mountain of information: Any advice as to how to navigate the plethora of Libraries/Sources being offered by LOGOS?

I am sure you'll get a lot of different answers to your question, but here is the first four things I would suggest:

1. Start with Factbook including for scripture. It will pull together different types of resources in your library across its different lenses.
2. Build your own Passage Guide and change it early and often. You can use collections and multiple commentary sections to focus on specific tasks. For example I have specific sections focused on big picture, literary structure, cultural background, recent commentaries, and classic commentaries. It is similar to Factbook but using my collections, I can hone in on specific resources of each type I prefer.
3. Look up a couple of words in your Encyclopedias/Dictionaries and decide which you like best. Prioritize 5 bible translations and 5 encyclopedias first so word and verse look ups will prefer your priorities. Prioritization of lexicons and commentaries can come later as you start using more resources.
4. I love Study Assistant and have it open whenever I have Logos open. I have learned so much by reading the AI-generated answer and then especially clicking and reading the cited references.

In terms of actually organizing your library, that seems like a never-ending process. I wish it were easier to rename books and series as it seems I am always coming up the next best way.
