Quite simply, I wanted to ask if Faithlife have any plans / would consider creating a song charts / set management system for worship teams. Having used Proclaim for some years and appreciating the regular updates and developments, I don't think it would be a big stretch for you guys to create this system . I'd love the opportunity to discuss my thoughts & wishlist in more detail please.
In order to clarify a little, I probably need to mention some examples, but I mean absolutely no disrespect to these guys.
We used to use OnSong for our band charts, but the biggest issue we faced was having to email charts around, or beam them at rehearsal when any changes were made (and connectivity could be tricky).
Then we stumbled across WorshipTools - when we open the app, the charts update to the latest version in the set (key change, flow edits, etc. Unfortunately it doesn’t entirely embrace Chord Pro syntax, eg, the flow command simply doesn’t work which is a bit tiresome as we have to clone the song to edit the flows manually, so we don’t ruin the original. But the huge win is that it updates across the board without having to beam or email songs.
What I see in Proclaim has been a real game changer for us, being able to readily change flows and keys, without having to tweak in Chordpro. It’s a real life saver at rehearsal when the WL needs to change something. A couple of clicks and key presses and our Confidence Monitor is all set. We set our services in advance, often working remotely, so that when we start up Proclaim in our building, it syncs and we’re all good to go. If we could just have that in an app, that would be just awesome! Syncing with the prepared presentation would be something else. . And if we could actually build our set list from our library (and of course adding new songs), that would be out of this world
We really appreciate you guys in all the hard work you evidently put in developing (thank you sooo much for chords!) and regular updates!!
So I just thought I’d lay that at your door ….
Bless you guys. You’re amazing!
