How to prevent syncing my local highlights and notes but still download and refresh books

As per the title, when I turn on Use Internet I can select to not download new books but not able to prevent Logos from sending my notes and highlights to their server. In order to download new books it appears I must sync my private data with their server which is a bummer. Is this even possible to have these stored ONLY locally?

In the grand plan of Logos, sync'ing of user content is at the apex. Will happen. Buying books, lower down, and updating the app lowest. I buy books, but don't update the app.

The answer from FL; if it's private, keep it private (notes outside Logos). Text goes onto the servers raw. Protection is by employee role/rules.

I keep all my notes offline. I do highlighting, but only to remember this and that … delete them now and then. Though, the FL server doesn't really delete them, as I understand.

You cannot isolate Notes and Highlights from other private/user data, and you cannot prevent syncing your data unless you work offline (hold CTRL when you start Logos). But sync will resume when you go online in order to download resources or software upgrades!

Is the Logos for Mac designed and programed from the ground up to be a Mac program? Or is it Logos for windows with a program that allows it to run on Mac? If it is the latter, does Logos have plans for an excellent Logos designed and built for Mac?
