So in the way I use proclaim, I use a virtual screen as an "overlay" for an NDI feed to send to OBS Studio. OBS Studio then sends all its video mixes to our broadcast… in this case Zoom via OBS virtual camera. Proclaim shows its active video input on any slide that has transparency for its background meaning that if my virtual screen for the NDI feed has any transparency it displays that input on top of our cameras since its part of our "overlay". I haven't used the video input feature for this reason as there is no way to turn it off on a per slide or virtual screen basis. Its just always on.
The reason for this request is that I'm currently transitioning our main feeds from an HDMI output (computer sees an active display) to SDI (not an active display) and I'd like to use an NDI screen capture of our broadcast "Zoom" and send that to the video input of Proclaim. This is so I have a main slide to show who's on zoom to our congregation, as they like to be interactive with them, and unfortunately every single slide that has transparency, which every one of our virtual screens do, show that video input back into OBS meaning Zoom sees itself. Currently with the HDMI setup I have the ability to make a "projector" from an OBS scene with a solo screen capture of Zoom and I can switch between the open program windows with Proclaim and Zoom on an active display basis. This is not possible with SDI. If I had the ability to turn the video input off for that virtual screen this would solve some of my biggest issues.
If this routing doesn't make sense I'm happy to record a video of what I'm trying to solve when I get back to the church.
