This is an incredibly small suggestion and is arguably inconsequential, and it's not that the current note icons are insufficient at all, but I have found that it helps to have note icons which relate to relevant notebooks. So for example, I have a notebook which has prophecies fulfilled in Christ or allusions to Him and I use the crucifix icon combined with a purple and gold colour scheme. When reading through the OT and I come across this highlight which I have done at a previous time it helps to readily identify it at a glance. And just by recognising the highlight it might change the way I'm about to engage with what I'm about to read.
I don't think I've ever used the scissors or half of them in there. I have tried, but it just kind of feels odd or weird to come across a shape that doesn't really reflect any relevant topic or information. I don't know if it would be difficult to implement, but maybe having some icons that are an open bible, a sword, a pen, a camera (i.e., to symbolise a snapshot or something), more markers that signify a thought or note & etc, would help provide for some more seamless note taking and reading? One of the best things about this software for me is the ability to take a bunch of notes and sort through them readily and easily, so much so that they become part of my Bible. There is one section in Romans that I now call "rainbow Romans" due to the amount of different highlighters and colours which represent different notebooks in there haha. So having more tools to make use of this feature would always be welcome.
God Bless ❤️.
