Can we have bookmarks that can be put on the text where we want them?
Not just by the "page" but where we want to mark somewhere.
With our choice of icons. I put colored circles cause I had nothing else to put in the pic.
How come we can't have a bookmarks pane on the left-side of books, in the table of contents area?
Have a look at other programs. PDF Xpress for example. I can create as many bookmarks as I want and it will take me right to that part on the page.
In this example, clicking on my bookmark entry will take me right to that "Genesis 5" portion, snapping that line to the top of the screen.
So without any inline bookmarks, I am forced to either abandon a page or finish it, before I can save my spot. If something comes up and I have to stop reading, I just lost my place on the page. Analog bookmarks couldn't do this, but computers can.
If I want a series of renamable custom bookmarks, a quick way of referencing different places in the book, for future reference, I can't do that. Nine bookmark options is not enough for that, and those won't snap the view to the place on the page. I'm forced to use notes instead.
