This has been covered a few times, most recently here but I would love support added for animated images such as gif as several churches I run A/V for requested to have an animation of their logo on their slides.
—While I understand this can be done in a video mixer such as OBS or vMix, which I am doing right now, I'm running into issues where the OBS Source that is capturing my Proclaim Slides does not refresh its SDI output unless the source is actively highlighted either in Program or Preview mode. Doing it this way has also added a lot of latency for me from my original 2-5ms Proclaim output to over 600ms via OBS output on a decent cpu/gpu.
Better yet maybe a global setting option to upload an animated image and have a on/off toggle on a per-slide basis like the countdown? (Maybe for global upload it would be in the Overlay Settings under Display settings and then the per-slide toggle under the countdown toggle? Just an idea)
This just gives me more options to meet the criteria I'm asked to fulfill. The gif below is an example of what one of the churches wants on their main slides in specific spots and its a lot easier to add to add per slide (or globally) and place it right where I want it.
