Sorry about the title--wasn't exactly sure how to even put the question. Couldn't search the forum for previous answers for the same reason--not sure what I am even asking! I wanted to find all the uses of the verb τίθημι with the noun ψυχή everywhere in the NT. I am working on what John means by "laying down the soul" in 1 Jn. 3:16-18. It is an interesting construction and I want to see if it is used elsewhere in the NT. I am sure it can be done--in fact I am sure I have done it previously, but I cannot figure out how to do it now. I think I need to be able to use the lemmas, since I am not searching just for one construction, but rather all places where the two words occur more or less together. Help! I know you guys know how to do this! I am using Logos 3. Thanks a ton! You guys are the greatest.
