There are lots and lots of great apps for the iPad. Here are some that I use the most - you can find them in the App store, the same place you got iBooks
- Logos, of course.
- iBooks, the book reader from Apple. App is free, many books cost (though many are also free).
- Kindle, the book reader from Amazon. I prefer this to iBooks because 1. it has lots more books; 2. the books are almost always cheaper; 3. there are often free deals for great books. I have around 20 books through iBooks but 109 on the Kindle. I do almost all of my reading now through the Kindle app.
- Pages, this one may not be as useful if you do not use the Pages app on the Mac, but I use Pages for my word processing work.
- Dropbox, use this to access my files synchronized on Dropbox.
- Things, a great task manager. Omnifocus is also great, though a bit trickier to use.
- Twitter, the official Twitter client. A great app.
- Reeder, the best RSS reader I've ever seen.
There are some others I use a bit, but these are my most common apps (though I didn't mention any of my games!).
I would add:
- Mobile Mouse Pro..great remote control for your computer
- Clock! Free - my favorite clock app for night.
- ABContacts - a great contact manager
Then again, these work great on my IPod Touch. I just noticed this was for IPad apps. But I bet they would work well.
- Videos => http://www.logos.com/product/5876/learn-to-use-biblical-greek-and-hebrew-with-logos-bible-software (used handbrake to reduce movie sizes before copying to iTunes to sync with iPad)
- Nook - book reader from Barnes & Noble
- Free Books - many public domain books
- Couple other Bible applications that have local search for offline use
- Planets - like Sky 3D view
- This Day in History - 27 Jan 1756 is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart birthday
- News applications
- Traffic and Weather applications
Keep Smiling [:)]

Mobile Mouse Pro..great remote control for your computer
It's not a mobile mouse, but Air Display is a nice app to turn your iPad into a second monitor for your computer.
Clock! Free - my favorite clock app for night.
I use and enjoy Clock Pro. Lots of features, including (*gasp*) an alarm clock!
Keep Smiling mentioned news apps. The NY Times has a good app, though it may not be free for much longer, and the BBC has a good news app.
Some other nifty space apps are SkySafari to explore, well, the sky. My fav feature of it is it can use the accelerometer and compass (I use it with the iPhone, not so much with the iPad) to determine where you are looking so you can just point it to the area of the sky you want to know about and it will show you what all the stars and such are.
Solar Walk is also a great app for info about the solar system. Got that one to use with my kids.

Sorry, I have jumped to write some words.
- Is there a possibility of linking the book I am reading with other resources as we do in Logos 4?
If you are referring to a source that is hyperlinked (say a commentary or dictionary has a reference to something in Josephus) if you own that resource or the resource is downloaded if you are offline, it will link to that resource.
You can also use the split screen feature to sync a Bible and a Commentary.
- Tap on of the resources
- When the menu options on the bottom pop up choose More it that last one on the right.
- The turn the Link Panels option ON.
- Then go to your Bible and select the verse you want.
- The Commentary should go to the same place.
I hope this helps.
In Christ,
Philana
