But the question I have is: If I install the "Stable Version," do I have to reinstall entire Logos Software? Or just the App/version?
Suggest just replacing "Logos Bible Software 4" application.
If had been using Logos 4.2a SR-4, then update to Logos 4.3 Beta not yet feasible.

Log from Post update logos crash.....
Logs show mismatch: Logos4.log file has application (4.3 Beta 1, version 4.30.0.0130), but Indexer.log file has application (4.2a SR-4, version 4.21.5.0955 on Unix 10.7.0.0).
Suggest using Update Error steps, downloading current Stable release to replace "Logos Bible Software 4" application.

It seems as if you and a couple other people in this thread have 4.3 Beta 1 as the application version. If you do not wish to be on the Beta channel you can follow these instructions to start fresh with 4.2a SR-5:
http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Want_to_downgrade_from_Beta_to_Stable
http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#Uninstalling_and_Reinstalling_in_Logos_4_Mac
If you'd like to be on the Beta channel then please update to 4.3 Beta 2 manually by downloading from http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstallerBeta/Logos4Mac.dmg

Observation: cannot change from Stable Logos 4.2a SR-4 or Logos 4.2a SR-5 to Beta, see Do not upgrade from 4.2a SR-4 to 4.3 Beta 2 for details (needs Logos 4.3 Beta 3 that has not been released yet).
Puzzled by couple log postings that show Stable Logos 4.2a SR-4 in Indexer.log with Logos 4.3 Beta 1 in Logos4.log file. If Beta version manually downloaded after Tue 5 Apr, the version is Logos 4.3 Beta 2 (so Logos 4.3 Beta 1 version is puzzling).

Couple options come to mind: wait for Logos 4.3 Beta 3 release this week so can upgrade application OR use steps to downgrade:

Suggest searching resources after indexing done; would like to know if copied resources found.

Well, I have Logos open and I opened a couple of bibles (BHS/WIVU, NRSV, NA27), a couple of Lexicons (BDAG and HALOT). I opened up my Library and it showed all 785 resources. Thus far it looks like everything is fine.
(couple hours later) It finished indexing and I searched for "all text" in "entire Library" and found "word" in 546 resources. So, I am pretty sure it worked just fine.

I got the same message about Logos 4 not being able to be downgraded, after downloading and installing again. Talked to support they say that there is nothing that can be done until the developers fix the situation. Apparently that last update was either wrong or it had a glitch. Hope they work fast.

Not yet. Beta releases have typically been 2 weeks apart. Yesterday, a Logos developer posted "4.3 Beta 4 should be released in two weeks" => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/32065/241858.aspx#241858 that implies Logos 4.3 Beta 3 is planned this week. With Logos 4.2a SR-5 being released yesterday, suspect Logos developers trying to integrate new stable code for downloading and indexing into Logos 4.3 Beta so Logos 4 users have option of changing from Logos 4.2a SR-5 to Beta (by updating application).
Looking at Logos 4 Beta Program for recent Beta releases, noticed day of week ranges from Tue to Fri (often Tue or Wed).

I just talked to the Customer Support, and since I have the Beta., they can't help much, till we get the new release/update? I am just going to reinstall everything (install Beta - then change it to Stable).

Apologies for needing to reinstall. If reinstalling everything, have option to chose Beta or Stable. Usually can change from Stable to Beta by updating application (currently need to wait for Logos 4.3 Beta 3 release before can update Logos 4.2a SR-4 or Logos 4.2a SR-5). However, changing from Beta to Stable needs a complete reinstall.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting page has Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable and Uninstalling and Reinstalling in Logos 4 Mac sections. Also, Wiki Quick Installation onto Multiple Macs page has Copy Logos 4 Resources to Mac OS X (Supported – saves resource downloading)

Is this normal while installing Logos (or reinstalling?) from zero? Not all of the Menu(s) show up. I tried to avoid downloading all files and indexing, but I am not sure why Logos did not ask me (after I unhooked the ethernet cable, so I can give the path for resources), to give the path for Resources, it kept spinning and spinning (the wheel) and spinning, and so I hooked the cable back up
Then it started downloading; and now it says, "Preparing your library" for 25 minutes now. And like the wiki said, go to Preferences and set the automatic updates to NO and so forth; I wasn't able to do all that because, I couldn't go to the Preferences first.

Normal = No (first time learning). Observation: trying to avoid downloading all files and indexing may not work (as noted on wiki page: has worked for some, but failed for others). Trying to avoid indexing means copying Logos4 folder with all sqlite database files and resource files.
Time Machine option: may be able to restore a Logos 4 folder and application that predate Logos 4.2a SR-5 release yesterday at 5:39 PM (Pacific Time). If Time Machine does not include indexes, can use rebuild index command to rebuild.
With internet connected, have option to cancel download, then use scan command and restart Logos 4 Mac. Can open Indexer.log file to watch "scan" discover and copy many resource files. By default, Indexer.log file automatically scrolls as lines are written.

Welcome [:D]
To verify if Logos won't launch is same problem, please post logs (would like to look at them so can compare with others who have experienced this problem).
WIki http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#How_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac has log posting steps.

Dr. Fabarez,
I reinstalled Logos from zero - after I talked to the tech. But, some got the problem fixed by deleting few minor things. I should have waited a little longer, but I didn't...
Hope this problem will be fixed.
I still am not sure, where to go, to find out if I am using a Stable version or a Beta. Any help?
Thank you.

The notes in your case indicate a link to this forum thread was provided to help you resolve the problem: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/32506.aspx. Have you tried those steps?

Wiki Logos 4 Beta Program has Finding your update channel section.
For Stable release, update channel does not appear after version. For screen shot, clicked "Logos Bible Software 4", then clicked About:
